Description

I captured the comet Neowise July 28 at about 10:00 from my backyard. Fortunately my darkest sky is to the north and west, which is where the comet is currently.

I used a Canon T3i at prime focus of a C-11 telescope, for an exposure of 15 seconds at ISO 1600. I shot many frames, but this is a single frame.

The sky was quite bright due to a first quarter moon being about 90 degrees away. This washed out the tail, which I can barely make out in a few frames, going about straight up.
