Description

M52 is an open cluster in Cassiopeia constellation, located about 30’ from the Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635): indeed most of us astrophotographers prefers taking wide field images with both objects, but in these images inevitably the attention is all caught by the nebula.

So I decided to take a close up on the cluster itself. It has a diameter of 13’ and it is a rich cluster being composed by many brilliant and young stars (the estimated age of this cluster is about 160 million years).
