Soul Nebula is an emission nebula located in Cassiopeia. Several small open clusters are embedded in the nebula: CR 34, 632, and 634 (in the head) and IC 1848 (in the body). The object is more commonly called by the cluster designation IC1848. [Source: Wikipedia]

This complex is the eastern neighbor of IC1805 (Heart Nebula) and the two are often mentioned together as the "Heart and Soul". (See comments below).

CAPTURE Information:
The image was captured with the iOptron CEM120 mount , the venerable Meade 12"LX200 SCT, and my Atik 383L+ m CCD at F7.16 (2182mm FL). Image subs were taken through Astronomik's narrowband filters Ha, OIII and SII. All subs were done at 1x1 bin, -10C, at 10 minutes each.

IMAGE information -- 2019:
Ha : 31 subs (5.17hr) on Dec 7th.
OIII : 30subs (5.00hr) on Dec 7th and 11th.
SII : 28 subs (4.67hr) on Dec 11th and 13th.

Processing for the RGB image was done with PixInsight. My approach was a bit different this time, first combining the three NB filters in the SHO fashion; then using Color Mask filters Magenta, Green, Cyan and Yellow to highlight various areas of the image.
North is to the right (I think), and this is a very slight crop.

This image is a small portion of the Soul Nebula. Without doing a mosaic, this is the limit of the field of view of my optical setup.
I'll admit the colors are on the garish side, and all is (as usual) pushed too much. But it was a first effort.
