Description

On the morning of this Thursday, March 9, I had the privilege of observing and photographing a magnificent and huge solar prominence. This wall of plasma rose some 100,000 km above the solar surface.
Despite the great turbulence of the atmosphere and the high ambient temperature, I decided to try to capture it with the highest possible resolution. The image on my laptop screen was really impressive, it looked like hundreds of threads of plasma were dripping down a wall.
It really was a spectacle that left me speechless.
