Description

NGC 3372, also known as the Carina Nebula, is a massive star-forming region located in the southern constellation of Carina. It is one of the largest and brightest nebulas in the night sky, visible to the naked eye under a dark sky.The Carina Nebula is located approximately 7,500 light-years away from Earth and spans an area of about 300 light-years across. It is a region of intense star formation, containing hundreds of young, hot, and massive stars that emit powerful radiation and stellar winds. These stars heat up the surrounding gas and dust, causing it to glow in a beautiful array of colors, including red, blue, and green.
