Description

Lightly processed IC1805 and 1848 in narrowband H-a. I wanted to see how far I could push my 135mm lens. Just over 10 hours of data with my mono-converted Canon 60D, iExos-100, Rokinon 135mm f/2 lens, and Astronomik 6nm H-a clip filter.

I did a drizzle integration in APP and then brought it into StarTools for some sharpening, deconvolution, star reduction, and noise reduction. Then back into APP for stretching, and GIMP for final adjustments. Last I did a slight color shift to give it an antique-ish sepia look.

I'm usually not a fan of how StarTools stretches the data, but it did a really nice job of sharpening and deconvolution. The effect was subtle but brought some of the details of the nebula into sharper view.

As always, C&C welcome and appreciated!
