Description

Hello all,
in the immediate vicinity of M106 we find this small galaxy, so nicely colorfully adorned by its companion stars.
About 49 million light years away. The small spot to the left is NGC 4226, according to Wikipedia 1/3 billion light years away (that sounds so great ).
Taken during fair weather and last Sunday (4.4.22) from my balcony. Sunday it was here suddenly unexpectedly clear I wanted to test my new OAZ at the Newton.
I don't get all the data together here right now, but halfway:
a little more than 4 hours exposed with 8" SW f/5 Newton on the EQ6-R
ISO 3200, always 90 seconds
Filter: L-Pro

CS, Michael
