Cometary Globule CG1 in the outskirts of the Gum Nebula

Almost immediately nick-named "Flipper Nebula" in the IAS remote user group. ;-) This object can be found as dark nebula "Bernes 135" in N.I.N.A's Sky Atlas, but what the "Bernes" catalog actually is, remains a bit mysterious. Does anybody know a authoritative reference?
