Description

I've been impatiently waiting for clear skies since the news of the discovery of SN2023ixf, and ended up trying on a night with poor conditions (smog, near full moon, haven't got an LP filter yet for my new setup) and still stuck with 30 second exposures on my D5100 (haven't got round to the DIY electronics project I need to complete to get NINA to make my camera do exposures >30 seconds!). I'm still very happy with how this worked out after only ~90 minutes even if it's a bit noisy, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the ED80 can do once I've got everything working.

Processing:
Calibrated, registered, stacked, initial stretches (asinh, histogram) in Siril
Star removal in StarNet
Final processing in Photoshop (including synthetic flat to deal with light gradient)
