Description

This nebula is the result of a supernova in 1054. In that year it was bright enough to be seen during the day. This image was made by the Seestar smart-scope, live-stacking it as it took an hour's worth of 10-second exposures. The final image here was post-processed for more clarity in PixInsight from the live-stack produced by the Seestar. The original Seestar live-stacked image as seen on the Seestar app can be seen by looking at the original version below.
