Description

Located  550 lights years away from Earth in the constelation Cassiopeia the Queen, the ghostly form of IC 63 is caused by ionization of hydrogen and reflection of UV radiation from  from the blue giant star Gamma Cassiopeiae, seen to the right of this image.

15 hrs of L extreme for the nebulosity, processed with Narrow Band Normalization  to enhance OIII signal,  combined with 1.5 hrs of L-pro for the stars, then combined with ScreenStars in Pixinsight.
