Description

NGC2610 is a small planetary nebula in Hydra. It was discovered by William Herschel on 31 December 1785.

This image is an HOO image captured on the 9th April 2022. Not much data as i am in the process of sorting out targets for my C9.25 and exploring the many PNs that are available under my limited sky.

The central star is barely visible, along with  faint outer shells that are strong in Oiii. The central region of the PN is stronger in Ha. Definitely worth imaging.
