Description

Comet 62/P Tsuchinshan has been moving through the foreground of many galaxies in the directions of Leo and Coma Berenices. Virtually every night a new "encounter" takes place and in this picture the comet visits faraway spiral galaxy NGC 4178. Many other background galaxies adorn the rest of the field of view (even with the modest aperture and short focal length of this telescope). This is a relatively short exposure time.

The workflow processing for this galaxy/data is demonstrated in its entirety at AdamBlockStudios.com. It will be published within hours of the release of this video.
I am considering creating "Comet Academy" as a separately available course on comet image processing. Please let me know if this interests you. This will be a part of "Horizons" (so members will automatically have access.)  https://www.adamblockstudios.com/categories/comets
