Description

My photography possibilities are, as I always write, very limited both due to the sky from which I work (a Bortle 9+ with very high humidity and lighting) and because I work with the lucky imaging system and I can make poses with a total integration time limited to no more than approximately 60-90 minutes. In these conditions there are few subjects within my reach and so, to start working again with the 125 f 7.8 apochromatic refractor and the ASI 183mm camera, I chose an easy subject, the globular cluster M13 in Hercules. As usual, no significant post processing was carried out except to insert the writing and slightly adjust the dominant sky background. As always, to give objective feedback to the images, the field of view has a pre-set value and equal to 40'x40'. Te visibile SPIKES are REAL and obtained with a cross made with a 3mm. adhesive tape in front of the lens. Some peculiar data regarding the star are indicated at the bottom of image.
Here is last night's image with poses and features as follows:

Tecnosky 125 APO f 7.8 OWL
Camera ASI 183mm mono
CLS filetr
120x20sec gain 250 exposure
Bortle 9
sensor temperature = 2°C
