This is my image of Jupiter from 13.11.2023. And this is the first photo of Jupiter that I really like.
Here are the details for my imaging session:
- this time I used ROI of 480x480;
- this allowed for an FPS of about 150;
- I used gain 182 and 5ms frames in order for the histogram to be naturally stretched slightly above the middle;
- I used 3 minutes SER clips which contained about 27000 frames per clip;
- clips were processed with Autostakkert 4 with 1.5 drizzle and I used the best 10% from each clip;
- further processing was done using Astrosurface and Photoshop and even BlurXterminator
- 17 of the best frames were used for planet de-rotation in WinJupos.
- Revision A also contains animation of all frames from the night. Towards the end the seeing became really bad.
Shooting planetary is really fun.
