Description

This is my second attempt to capture the dragons, and this time I brought the egg along. The fighting dragons of Ara are typically visible in the Southern Hemisphere, but can also be spotted from lower latitude locations in the Northern Hemisphere, albeit at a lower altitude in the sky.  From where I took the picture the highest it gets is about 20 degrees. So it took me two nights to gather 7.5 hours of data.

The telescope I used is a prototype of William Optics Pleiades 111 (510mm/f4.8), which has excellent optical performance and features the newly designed inner focuser. Many thanks to William Yang, founder of William Optics, for lending me the scope to test.
