Little Rosette

Sh2-284 is a star-forming cloud of dust and gas located in the constellation of Monoceros. The nebula is relatively isolated at the very end of an outer spiral arm of our Milky Way galaxy and is about 15K light years from Earth. In the night sky, it's located in the opposite direction from the center of the Milky Way.

Captured in SHO filters and processed in the Hubble Pallette.
