Description

The California Nebula, 1000 light years distant in the Milky Way is seen in narrowband emission.  It takes some emphasizing of Oxygen III and Sulphur II to bring them out and separate them from Hydrogen.  Here OIII is cyan, Hydrogen is yellow (on the green side), and SII is red.
10 Ha, 5 OIII, 5 SII.  Stars slightly reduced in APP.
