Description

This description is for revision B. For the original, see the text below the dashed line.

Revision B is reprocessed using a tone map technique as follows:

H:
dynamic crop
starXterminator (extracting stars)
histogram transformation
tgv denoise
clone H as lum

O & S:
dynamic crop
starXterminator (extracting stars)
histogram transformation
MLT removed first 5 layers)

SHO:
channel combination (SHO)
histogram transformation
channel combination in lum
curves
pixel math in stars

lum:
LHE (2 scales)
MLT sharpening

stars:
channel combination (SHO)
histogram transformation

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Lion Nebula (SH2-132) is a bit too large for our field of view but this is the "head" of the lion, at least I *think* it is.

The smoke out west caused a lot of grief in collecting this data. Though we got 24 hours of good data it took more than double that to get to that level of good data. In OIII it took more than three times the amount of acquisition than we actually used.

Each S, H and O:
dynamic crop
MLT noise reduction
masked stretch

SHO
channel combination (SHO)
TGV denoise
Invert/SCNR/Invert (to remove magenta star halos)
LHE (2 scales)
EZ Star Reduction script
curves (hue and contrast)
Adv Sharpening script

Normally I would enter in the details for each night of acquisition but with so many frames rejected by Normalize Scale Gradient it was too tedious a process.  Acquisition started on September 12 and ran though September 21. During that time we collected 252 frames and I ended up using only 93 of them. Sure hope that smoke clears out soon!
