Description

This image of ngc281, the "PacMan Nebula" is a bright emission nebula located in the constellation of Cassiopeia, about 9500 ly distant from Earth.   Image data:  22 x 300s Ha 1x1;  12 x 600s each SII and OIII binned 2x2; 3nm filters; processed as SHO.

As a side note...  There are some elongation issues with the stars.  I do plan on re-imaging this object soon.
