Description

Messier 33 is the 3rd largest galaxy in our local group of galaxies,  behind the Andromeda Galaxy and our Milky Way..  The Triangulum Galaxy is a spiral galaxy 2.73 million light-years (ly) from Earth in the constellation Triangulum.  It is one of the most distant permanent objects that can be viewed with the naked eye..

There's a ton of nebuosity in the galaxy as star formation abounds.  There are numerous super bright globular clusters.

This image consists of 218 subs of a mix of 240 and 300 second exposures.  The 240s were using the OPT L-pro filter.  The 58 300s subs used the radian ultra quad-band filter to bring out a little Ha.

ASI2600MC Pro; EQ6r Pro, Esprit 120ED and a few other bits and pieces.  Image acquisition via APT.
