Description

This is my first Astrobin Debut! (And one of the even fewer higher resolution images of the galaxy other than a non-color hubble image.)

This galaxy has been "caught" before, but not intentionally, whereas this image is intentionally imaging it. It appears as a few pixels in many widefield Andromeda to Triangulum images.

NGC 214 is an SABbc galaxy in Andromeda that shines at a magnitude of ~13, at a distance of 193.8 MLY.

I reckon there is probably at least a hundred galaxies in this frame alone. I'll have to come back for many more of those when I get a larger scope.
