Description

Sharpless SH2-224 super nova remnant.

This was a tough one, most of this SN remnant is quite faint and it took a lot of hours to bring out the fainter details.
This supernova remnant is located 14,700 light years from Earth in the constellation Auriga.
It is believed that this SNR is 81,000 years old.

I used an HSO palette composed of the following -
Red: Ha * 1.3
Green: Sii * 0.4
Blue: Oiii * 1.4

This dim object could use a lot more hours of Ha and Oiii imaging. The next few days will be cloudy/rainy with a large moon close to SH2-224 so I will have to wait to get more data.
I decided to put out what I have and hopefully someone will give me suggestions to improve the image.

Revision 'B'
More Oiii data added and a bit more Ha added. Can't find a clear night !!  Right now it's raining.
