Description

Showing Bode's Galaxy (M81), the Cigar Galaxy (M82) as well as Garland's Galaxy (NGC 3077) emersed in galactic cirrus.
Just below M81 the faint dwarf galaxy "Holmberg IX" can be seen.

This photograph originated in March 2022, when I was using a QHY600C.
However, I was never pleased with the resolution of narrowband images taken with that OSC-camera - that's why I switched over to a QHY600L mono camera in mid 2022.
This year, I took a few Ha shots of M81 and 19 of these turned out to be much better than 58 exposures taken with the OSC-camera!
I never thought that there was such a big difference between OSC and mono!

Hope you like my result!
