Description

I re-shot this target with a larger scope and it definitely made a difference with regard to how much more light the C11 picks-up as compared to the C9.25. I also tested the new mount I recently bought (iOptron CEM70EC2) with longer exposures. I was getting 0.38 arc second guiding in the Midwest with average seeing conditions, unbelievable! I would struggle to keep my CGX mount under 1.0 arc second guiding in the same seeing conditions. The other benefit is I tossed none of my subs with the iOptron mount. With the CGX I was routinely tossing 30% of my subs when they were over 60 seconds in length. Overall, I definitely made the right choice in getting this mount.
