Description

I can capture the entire California nebula with my new WO81GT IV!

I've been running 2 rigs, the 9.25 with the 2600MM and the 81gt with the 2600MC.  I don't have much to show for the 9.25 as seeing has been bad therefore guiding unacceptable for that focal length.  Even had dew point at 7pm!   But I was able to capture good enough data for this image with the wide focal length.  In this, I used the Lpro light pollution filter.  In hindsight I should have used the LeXtreme dual narrow band filter for this nebula.  Minimally processed but with significant star reduction.  Posting for my record...to me it's just a so so image.  I'm traveling to Oklahoma this week and taking the 81gt.  I plan to use the 2600MM for the first time with this scope skies permitting.  Hoping to see what the 81 really can do!  I may not be as responsive for the next 12 days...
