Description

This is a cross-eyed stereogram of Jupiter and one of its moons.  To view this you need to cross your eyes until you see three Jupiters.  Then look at the middle one.  You may need to adjust your distance to the screen for it to work well.

The separation between images was about 8 minutes of time.  The surface of the planet was rotating to the right and the moon was moving to the left.  This allowed me to arrange them side-by-side in a way that the planet surface appears closer to you and the moon appears further away.  It is interesting to me that it works even though the motion is not exactly horizontal.

I used a 2x Barlow lens and applied a 1.5x drizzle when processing.  Seeing was not great.
