Description

Learning RASA8. In and out of clouds, a bit overstretch, but still fun and beautiful.

M78 - "Casper the Friendly Ghost Nebula" in Orion. A reflection nebula (light from adjacent stars), it is about 5 ly wide and considered a molecular cloud - an area of very active star formation. Several young stars are visible (Casper's eyes), but Hubble and other space based observatories show 50+ stars in various stages of formation. NASA, Wikipedia.
