Description

Messier 77, aka Cetus A,  is the brightest known Seyfert galaxy.    Seyfert galaxies have feeding supermassive black holes that radiate energy across the electromagnetic spectrum.  Cetus A is located about 47 million light years from Earth and is known for its very strong emissions at radio wavelengths.
