Description

PK017 211 is about 4900 light years away in the constellation of Sagittarius.  This is a major crop of the large starfield captured as the object is only 2.2 x 0.6 arcmin in size with a visual magnitude of +13.8.

Only a few images of this object on astrobin or the internet in general I was unable to find more than basic information.

This object was initially captured a couple of weeks ago when I was on the hunt for Pluto with my 4 inch scope and saw in the starfield this mass only to find out later it was Pk017 211.  With a clear night on the 16th of August, was able to do both O3 and Ha captures and pull out the nebula from within the starfield.
