Description

After almost 3 months of clouds and rain I finally had 2 evenings of respite and I was able to point the telescope towards the sky. This time we are in the constellation of Cassiopeia (the W of stars we see towards the North-North West), about 9500 light years from us, the majestic NGC281 shines commonly known as the Pacman Nebula, an emission nebula, rich in areas of HII and OIII (ionized hydrogen and third oxygen) surrounded by the open cluster IC 1590 which shines with its blue giants.
