Description

Hello everyone,
who wouldn't want to go on a trip to the Sunshine State now in November. It's also possible without a plane, so today I'd like to take you there in a different, simple way. One look at the night sky is enough. In November, the constellation Perseus is already in the sky at civilian times. And the emission nebula NGC 1499, also known as the California Nebula, can be found there at a distance of 1000 light years. This nebula is the closest H II region to us, a star forming region, and has a diameter of 60 light years. I was able to collect 2.5 hours of light. For the first time I used the Astronomik CLS filter against light pollution.
