Description

I have not observed this object.

I obtained the frames used to create the image from SkyGems. The frames were imaged by the SkyGems RC16 Telescope at the SkyGems Rio Hurtado Chile Remote Observatory.

This cluster has a highly peculiar chemistry similar to NGC 5694, being extremely iron-poor yet having super-solar abundances of magnesium and titanium.

Distance: 18.920 LY
Type: Halo Globular
Position w.r.t. core of galaxy: Below the MW disc and about equal distance to the core as the Sun.
Any stars resolved: N/A
Undergoing Core Collapse: No
