Description

24./25.Okt. und 1./2. Nov. 2022:

H-alpha = 27 x 600 sec
OIII = 27 x 600 sec

This part of the Veil Nebula was discovered on 5 September 1784 by Wilhelm Herschel.
He observed at his 47, cm - reflector and noted "... spread nebula, divides into different streams, which then reunite further south"

The other part of eastern Veil is NGC 6995
