Description

Still experimenting with my Rasa 8. It becomes clear to me that this very fast telescope, when used with narrowband filters like L-eNhance, needs relatively long exposure times, e. g. 90 seconds (which is stil fast). For this photo I also made 30 second-frames and 45 second-frames, assuming I would need HDRCompression. But that assumption was wrong: the camera handles 90 second frames quite well.

I did not first extract H-alpha and OIII, but I applied the frames as RGB-frames.

Description: I made a new version with AstroPixelProcessor, using its debayering-algorithms "Ha-OIII color" and "Ha-OIII mono". With these stacks I made an LRGB-image in PixInsight, which I added to the previous revision. The promise of AstroPixelProcessor ("The Ha-OIII color algorithm is an improvement ... over the default Adaptive Airy Disk ...") is fulfilled in my opinion. The reds of Ha are much richer.
