      Description

      The Spaghetti Nebula (SIMEIS 147 / SH2-240) is a very large supernova remnant, with an apparent diameter of about 3 degrees. It is hard to observe due to its low brightness. Many past images have shown that this target has rich details. I was planning to capture it when using a 12-inch Newtonian telescope. At that time capturing this target required 28 panels mosaic,  both capturing and processing  were quite challenging.

      By the end of 2023, I finally completed the assembly and testing of the TAKAHASHI Epsilon-160ed dual system. Each telescope was paired with an full-frame camera(ASI6200MM and QHY600M). I only needed 2 panels mosaic to complete the capture of the entire target, and two fast newtonian telescopes could also recorded the information from various filters efficiently.75af1ff56f8dc4c9de75d24ec47642c2.jpg

      The details of this nebula were vividly and stereoscopically displayed after post-processing. The nebula's Ha and O3 clouds were intertwined, pushed away by the supernova explosion.
