Description

NGC660 is part of the M74 galaxy group and is well situated this time of year in the northern hemisphere for all-night imaging sessions.  The galaxy is an unusual polar ring galaxy, with an inclined ring.  The field of view contains many other smaller (apparent) galaxies if you look closely.  This data was acquired under a new moon, but with variable cloud conditions which limited the amount of good data collected.  A total of 8 hours acquired over two nights was used in this integration.
