Description

I've imaged this one in the past and never had a result that I really liked. This one ended up being a bit better through added imaging time. I used Bill Blanshan's new SHO normalization pixelmath to get my colors dialed in before tweaking with curves adjustments. His new tool is really powerful and helps arrive at an interesting SHO color palette. I'm still struggling to get my back focus dialed in with the Evostar 80ED. I ordered the wrong sized Baader Varilock so I'm in the process of exchanging it. Hopefully this will let me fine tune my settings as the spec of 55mm results in badly elongated stars in the corners. I experimented with electrical tape in multiple layers to increase my spacing to where the stars were semicircular. Oh well, time to figure out the next target...
