Description

The Heart Nebula (IC 1805) located in the constellation Cassiopeia, is an emission nebula showing glowing ionized hydrogen gas and darker dust lanes. It forms a famous complex known as the "Heart and Soul" with its smaller neighbor the Soul Nebula lying just just 2.5 degrees to the southeast.
