Description

The Crescent Nebula is a worth seeing nebula in the constellation Cygnus about 5000 light-years away from Earth. The Wolf-Rayet star WR 136 (HD 192163) forms this nebula by its fast stellar wind. I used only a light pollution suppression filter from Hutech. For this reason, the faint blue nebula around NGC 6888 cannot be seen very well. In addtion the Soap Bubble Nebula could not be captured either. Here, I have to use the Optolong L-eXtreme in a upcoming further sessions. Also interesting could be the combination of an image with my Newton 8" f/5 and this wide field image.

I hope you like it.
