Description

M7 is an open cluster of stars in the constellation of Scorpius near its stinger. Its one of the few Messier objects that hasn't yet been photographed by Hubble. Milky Way star clusters like M7 are generally intriguing as they're boosted by sections of the Milky Way in the background.

I initially did not expect much since this was captured as part of a test run under Bortle 8 skies. It looked pretty good after processing though so I decided to upload.
