Description

I don't usually photograph open clusters, but in the middle of last year, and searching for some object
interesting in Aladin (SHS Survey), I found in an area near Karina, this cluster NGC 3114, crossed by fine
filaments of Ha and wondering if there was any other gas; I thought about photographing it, but I had to
wait until the beginning of the year next to keep it in view.

That's how I got rid of my doubts about this, seeing that a few months later, @Logan Carpenter  and
@Chester Hall-Fernandez   published this object, confirming my suspicions of the existence of oxygen passing through the
cumulus.
At that moment I decided that I was going to photograph it at the beginning of this year since it would already be visible.

And here it is, photographed from the center of my city, bottle 9, becoming the object with the most hours of exposure
ever made.

I hope you like it!
