Description

I had spent  3 hours capturing this unique nebula in December. When I quick stacked the data, there was persistent satellite trails just at the top edge of the Angel. I saw the recent IOD of the region and thought I would give an edit attempt to and try to remove the trails that were residual even after stacking algorithm removal. More integration time, Ha Layer, and Luminance may add to this unique object, but I enjoyed the limited results.

NGC 2170 is a reflection nebula  in context of hydrogen emission nebula with rivulets of foreground dark and dusty nebula in the constellation of Monoceros. Located within the large star forming molecular cloud approximately 2,400 light years from Earth. This corresponds to a nebula size of 60 light years in diameter. Further refection and dark nebula trail off to the left portion of the image.
