Description

Lobster Claw Nebula using the SHO Palette

SH2-157, also known as the Lobster Claw Nebula, is an emission nebula located about 11,000 light-years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia.

With 23 hours of integration I was able to gently process this image using a minimum number of PI processes.
I tried several different palettes but SHO worked the best with PixelMath R/K: set to Sii * 0.8 + Ha * 0.2

To me it looks more like a dog with a yellow body looking left.
My wife thinks it looks like a chicken.
The more I look at it, it's a dog with a chicken body.
