Description

One of those rare moments when you happen to setup at the right time to capture something special and seeing and clouds cooperated!  When I first set up I noticed a very bright flare at AR3452 so I grabbed a quick full disk and then put the 3X barlow on and started to capture frames.  The flare peaked at 12:46 UTC.  I caught the full disk at 12:47 and then started the animation at 12:50.  A LOT happened in just those 4 minutes from the peak of the flare to this eruption that blasts out quickly and just as quickly falls back to the surface.  Animation goes from 12:50 - 13:48 UTC.  Image has been rotated 90 degrees CW for viewing.
