Description

It happens to me more and more frequently that, after completing an image, I realize that further and different data is required to get the right picture.
Some targets require some time and practice to be understood and properly portrayed. For example with the Supernova Remnant G065.2+05.7, after a disappointing first attempt I managed to get a much better one in the second run.
In the present case, after issuing a first RGB version (taken without light pollution filter), I resolved to add a few hours of Ha data to capture the faint gluing background, probably (not sure!) due to SNR G150.3+04.5.

As regards the subject: this portion of the galactic equator in Camelopardalis, between Cassiopeia and Auriga, is dominated by large dark clouds around Barnard 11 (B11). Simbad groups most of the dark nebulae included in our field here under the common identifier of TGU H994. TGU is an acronym for the Tokyo Gakugei University catalog.
I found no distance estimates; as a reference the nearby Taurus Molecular Cloud is 400-500 ly away.
