Description

The fly nebula (IC 1931) owes its name to its role as a victim, as it is located next to the spider nebula (IC 417) in the constellation Auriga. It is a mixed emission and reflection nebula. Its structure is similar to the Orion nebula, and it even has a small group similar to the Trapezium at its center.
