Description

Shot at the end of a very good seeing  evening, seeing was worsening and worse than that, the Moon was about to disappear behind the garden hedge. I gave it a try with a couple of "tiles" instead of my usual approach of taking a mosaic of 5 tiles. Each take was about 40000 frames at about 148 fps. I kept the best 1000 of image and composed the final image. Vrey good quality of the result, avoided me too much of processing, a bit of sharpening at the "lower" frequencies (pixinsight & astra) and a bit of hue tuning, although this area is not very colourful....I wanted to enhance the natural color of the rock (more visible in the Clavius area). Some specs from the session: Colour Space=RAW8, Brightness=49, Gain=142

Feels good when seeing is on your side....
