Description

My second and final capture of C/2022 E3 from early hours of 21 Feb 2023 as is it is visible in the Southern Hemisphere since early Feb.  At this point, the comet was in the constellation Hydra and at 777 million km from earth - it was farther from us / closest to the sun in mid January and is now closer to earth.  I assume this is why the comet's tail is dimmer than images seen elsewhere in January.
