Description

The galaxy M64, also known as "The Black Eye Galaxy," is a spiral galaxy located approximately 17 million light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Coma Berenices. What distinguishes this galaxy is the dark dust lane that crosses its center, resembling an eye in the sky. It has a diameter of about 90,000 light-years and is approximately one billion times brighter than our Sun. The M64 galaxy contains various stars, gases, and dust, which contribute to the formation of new stars.
